IStbar Removal

ISTBar is unwanted Internet Explorer toolbar that may redirect your browser's home page and replace your search results with ones from its parent server. With installation of ISTbar, you agree to automatic updates and third party software installing itself without alerts (sometimes it can install malicious software). You also give an opportunity to IStbar track your Internet activity, remember your browsing habits, some of which may include personally identifiable information. ISTbar may also show advertisements at you.

As I said ISTbar is obviously not a program you want to be on your PC. To stop malicious activity of ISTbar, please, follow few simple steps.

To get rid of ISTbar you need to remove following files: 

istsvc.exe
istdownload.exe
gjefpet.exe
juhpad.exe
sfsetup.exe
sidefind.exe
mce_bogus="1"

And of course remove registry entries belonging to ISTBar:

Also, search for lines containing words Istbar and name of the files I mentioned above.

This problem can be solved manually by deleting all registry keys and files connected with ISTbar (Adware.ISTbar), removing it from starup list and unregistering all corresponding DLLs. But in case you can't eliminate ISTbar
