Yieldmanager Removal Tool

Yieldmanager.com (adyieldmanager.com or yieldmanager.com), is a tracking cookie developed to track how many times you visit a website and how long you stay on it, your browser type, your IP address, and other web surfing activities which are sent back to the cookie's host site. Generally, cookies are not dangerous. Cookies are even helpful since they allow websites to store preferences (login credentials, personalize web pages, etc.). Yet there are cookies that are used for malicious purposes.

Normally it is just one of the cookies that you can also find in your Temporary Internet Files folder. See the pic. But sometimes it can grow to the complex infection. Like redirecting to random ad websites or kind of "Windows cannot find ad.yieldmanager.com" or other signs of infection. Even if you delete this file it will appear again after reboot or even immediately or some time after.

Manual Instructions:

Internet Explorer

1) Remove file manually or using Unlocker tool from Temporary Internet Files folder.
2) Open Internet Options | Privacy, click on the Advanced button.
3) Place a check in "Override automatic cookie handling".
4) Uncheck "Always allow session cookies"
5) Set "First Party Cookies" to Block, set "Third Party Cookies" to Block

Firefox

1) On the "Privacy" tab click "Show cookies" button.
2) Search for "yieldmanager" and remove found instances
3) To access Mozilla Firefox's cookie options, select Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab. Then click on "Exceptions" button. Type in "yieldmanager" and click "Block" button.
